The truth about “natural” claims
In India, as in much of the world, the word “natural” on food packaging has no strict legal definition. A product can be highly processed and still call itself natural. That’s greenwashing.
The fix is proof. A genuine claim points to a certification — organic, FSSAI, or a specific standard — with a body and a number you can verify. A vague claim just uses a leaf icon and hopes you won’t look closer.
Our rule is simple: every claim we make is backed by a certificate we can show you, on the product page, with the issuing authority named. If we can’t prove it, we don’t print it.
